first ,a thing called plurals, A7,C#-7flat 5,E-69,and GMAJ7flat5--are all plural. They can be looked at as coming from D Major, but should be looked at a little more closely. A7 (especially sus4) takes Mixolydian Of course.C#-7flat5, Locrian, but the ii-7b5 of B harmonic works much better. The E-69 is definitely Dorian (same relation as the ii v in D ) a blues scale can also work on it as well as the A7 on its root. The fourth mode of B harmonic = E Dorian #4, that works real well

Robert Uno Normann
Born:
Robert Normann was, and still is, a legend far beyond the borders of Norway. One person that recognized the genius in Normann's playing was Django Reinhardt, who is reported to have said: "Why do you want me to come to Norway? You've got Robert Normann!" Normann's career from the 1930's onward involved moving from a succession of bands, and from dance hall to dance hall. But not even the most rigorous demands for "dance music" could prevent Normann from developing into a world class jazz musician, immortalized on fabulous CD's with practically everything he has played in, Robert Normann's collective works.

Jim Goodin
Born:
You don't realize its power at first. It creeps up on you like a rolling fog on a starless night revealing itself only under the brilliant glow of a midsummer's moon. The subtle complexity of the music woven by acoustic guitar master Jim Goodin lulls you, draws you in and welcomes you to a comfortable, secluded spot. While a sharp ear may spot Ralph Towner's and Michael Hedges' influences in Goodin's elegant fingerstyle techniques and inspired harmonic textures, reducing Goodin to a simple clone doesn't do him, or his music, justice. Make no mistake: Goodin's acoustic creations have zest, zeal and originality
