Keith Price

Having strummed since grade six on his grandfather’s old guitar, Price landed his first gigs at age fifteen. First influenced by pop, punk and heavy metal, Price discovered jazz music through the intensity and spirituality of John Coltrane. At age 19, Price began his formal studies at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. Upon his return to Winnipeg, Price turned down a scholarship at New School University in New York City and opted instead to stay in Steve Kirby’s newly established jazz program at the University of Manitoba. He has also studied in Boston with renewed guitar guru Mick Goodrick. Over the last four years Price has played professionally with numerous groups including the Ron Paley Big Band, the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra, and Manitoba Artists in Health Care

Willy Dalton

Willy Dalton has been a working professional guitarist since 1970. Born in Manhattan, he began performing professionally in San Francisco, moved to Southern Florida in 1974, and settled in the NY Metropolitan Area in 1977. Well known artists he has performed or recorded with include Bo Diddley, Cissy Houston, Ben E. King, The Shirelles, Pam Tate, Mary Wells, Eddie Monteiro, Joe Cocuzzo, Daniel Ponce, Guillerme Franco and many others. He has also arranged, produced , and supervised the manufacture of over 25,000 compact discs for various artists. He formed his own record label and released 4 CDs by The Dalton Gang--a 10 piece band he has led as guitarist/composer/arranger since 1979

Scott Steele

Born:

Scott Steele grew up with rock and surf music in the 1960s and fusion and progressive rock in the 1970s. He studied at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon with Max Rees, a student of Larry Coryell. Scott has played fusion with Catch 23, free music with The Gone Orchestra and Tres Gone, rockabilly with The Dukes of Juke, and country music with Boogie Country. Scott played guitar on Bushwacked, a project of the Bi-Coastal Orchestra that was led by Mark Whitecage, Mike Mahaffay and Rozanne Levine. He lives in Portland with his wife and his two cats. His children, Matthew and Shannon, are both active in the Portland music scene.

Les Veale

Influenced by pop radio and especially The Beatles, Les Veale has had a good ear for catchy tunes from a young age. He started playing drums in a pop covers band as a teenager and soon realized he wanted to make a living from music. Les then went to music college to broaden his musical knowledge, where he also took up piano and guitar. At college he got a taste for writing music and decided he wanted to get into songwriting, publishing and making records. After many diversions, Les is achieving that aim and has now set up his own publishing company and record label ‘LVM’. In 2009 Les released his first jazz album Girl In Blue and is currently recording a second album of original jazz songs

Rich Perks

As a both a guitarist and composer Rich exhibits a keen interest in anything unusual, progressive and innovative. As well as being an active gigging musician, he is currently studying for his PhD at Brunel University where he specialises in constructing compositional methodologies for improvising musicians. Rich started playing guitar at the age of twelve and after being in several rock covers bands at school and college, performing in a variety of clubs and pubs up and down the country, Rich moved to Southampton to study Mathematics. During this time he held the guitarist chair in the Southampton University Jazz Orchestra (SUJO) for three years, playing venues all over the UK as well as at the North Sea Jazz Festival (Holland), plus several dates at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland)

Greg Boland

Born:

Greg Boland (b.1955) is one of Ireland’s most experienced touring and recording guitarists. Best known as a collaborative and session musician, he has worked with many critically acclaimed bands and artists. Greg’s career began in the 1970's as a member of Jazz / Rock band ‘Supply Demand & Curve’ following which he played with the legendary ‘Stagalee’, Ireland’s most successful ‘Soul / Funk’ band. During this period he also established himself as a very busy studio session guitarist, playing on scores of Albums, Singles, Demos, Jingles, TV / Film Themes and Soundtracks. As a member of 'Scullion' he enjoyed success on the acoustic music and festival circuit of the early 1980's, recording four albums. In the mid 80's he co-formed ‘Bumper to Bumper’ a sophisticated R & B outfit, the members of which included some of Dublin’s top studio session players
