Brent Baxter Barrett

Born: March 28, 1961

Brent Baxter Barrett grew up in a small town called Davison, near Flint, Michigan and received his Bachelor Of Fine Arts Degree in Jazz Guitar Performance and Technical Theatre from Central Michigan University in 1984. He has traveled the world many times over since then with his music including a number of years in Europe and Hong Kong. While in Europe he performed with his own "Brent Baxter Barrett Group" performing his original Jazz compositions and continues to do so today. He has been called a "guitarists guitarist" by Der Scene Magazine in Hamburg, Germany for his recording "Live Aus Hamburg" and has received much critical acclaim for this work thru the years

Audric Jankauskas

Born: July 17, 1955

2003 - Audric Jankauskas and Rob Lewcun collaborate to create the CD titled Spontageous , published and released by aujanmusic in January 2004 Spontageous is the name of the four piece jazz-rock group that features guitar, keyboards, bass, and drums. The sound of Spontageous can be best described as an exciting mix of styles that are reminiscent of the great artists that developed and cultivated the art-form of fusion. Richard Martel

Born: May 15, 1953

Guitarist Richard Martel has re-released his debut CD of contemporary jazz entitled Opening Doors on World Alert Records. Richard is an experienced session guitarist and music teacher who has worked with musical notables like Larry Coryell, Joe Beck, Dave Brubeck and Gerry Mulligan. Richard wrote, arranged and produced all the compositions on the CD at Tradewind Productions. He is also the author of a series of articles entitled "Contemporary Guitar" published in MUSICIAN magazine.

Justin Thompson

Justin Thompson combines cool jazz vocals with hot swing guitar and timeless song writing. His smoky voice has been compared to Harry Connick Jr. and Sting, while his guitar playing echoes the virtuoso passion of Django Reinhardt and the swinging lyricism of Wes Montgomery. As a songwriter, he crafts beautiful ballads and clever up-tempo swing numbers that sound as if they were written fifty years earlier. But, Justin is more than a traditionalist. His latest compositions point to a new direction for jazz in popular music. He also has a sense of humor which is evident by the only cover song on his CD -- the Britney Spears mega hit -- "Baby One More Time", however, Justin is quick to add that he is NOT the "Weird Al" of jazz. Bob Roetker

Born: June 11, 1948

Bob has been playing guitar for more than forty years, performing all across the United States. He has played with such musical celebrities as Steve Wilson, Cal Collins, Gary Thomas, Chris Vadalia, Bobby Shew, Rich Mattison, Delbert Felix, Billy Drummond, Howard Curtis, and the Johnny Trudeau Orchestra. Bob also toured and recorded with the 'Jazz Ambassadors', the Army's official touring jazz ensemble, for five years - appearing on television and radio shows nationwide, and at some of the major educational conferences including the National Association of Jazz Educators (NAJE) convention in 1980, now known as the International Association of Jazz Educators (IAJE) (now defunct). Bob has also authored an instructional jazz guitar chord book entitled 'Jazz Chords and Progressions' which carries with it an endorsement by legendary jazz great Joe Pass and has been featured in a guitar clinic given by Jack Peterson at the International Association of Jazz Educators. He also was primarily responsible for the organization and musical arrangements of the group 'Great Guitars of Tidewater' which was featured on National Public Radio in 1988
