Born:
I'm a musician from Essex who has been gigging and teaching for the last 5 years. I first picked up guitar because a friend of mine was getting one and because I once saw Brian May play "We Will Rock You" on Saturday night television. Soon I was playing in bands and had my first performance in a pupil organised gig at my school playing in multiple band and my own solo spot. I went on to study at Havering College where I got my HNC and BA (Hons) in Music Performance and Technology 2:1. The people i met there have long been friends and collaborators in projects since including some to this very day including playing for Mike Hough at the Indig02. I currently teach guitar and bass from my home in Ingatestone, write and record music that I either gig or submit to music publishing companies for synchronization with T.V and Movies

Omar Haddad
Born:
Omar Haddad is the bandleader of This, a quartet involving saxophone, guitar, bass, and drums. The band combines jazz, rock, impressionism, Latin, funk, and other styles of music. The name “This” alludes to a few aspects of art: the impossibility to put music in words; the act of surrendering (as "This" implies what comes out of one’s soul); and finally, by the nature of the word, it refers to something specific yet indefinite, both characteristics of our human musicality, which constantly evolves by incorporating new elements and abandoning others. This is plays at The City College of New York featuring Michael Webster on tenor sax, Peter Swanson on bass, and Hironori Momoi on drums. Another of Omar's original music projects is his debut CD Ceremony, a duo with pianist Diego Ruiz

Peter Galasso
Born:
Peter Galasso’s love for music began at 7 years old when his mother recorded him singing an Italian novelty song, "Eh Cumpari", made famous by then chart- topper, Julius LaRosa. At about the same time he would steal into his father’s closet and secretly play the old man’s mandolin. Not surprisingly, this is when Peter’s love of film scores began. The first tune he picked out by ear was the half-tone melody of “The Third Man Theme”, written by Anton Karas for Carol Reed’s 1949 film, “The Third Man”, starring Orson Wells. It was a short leap from mandolin to self-taught guitar
