Heddy Boubaker

Born: March 3, 1963

Born in 1963, Heddy started music by playing electric guitar in Rock bands as a teenager, since long time passed and he played many other musical styles and then progressively switched to the alto and bass saxophone. His main musical activities are now centered on improvised music and sound research; in solo or with others musicians, poets, dancers ... he is really found of musical meetings. He played on many international places with a lot of partners. He published many CDs and is very active in concerts organisation in the Toulouse area. Since 2011 he stopped playing saxophone and concentrate now on electric bass, guitar and analog modular synth.

Iggy Cardozo

Iggy Cardozo also known as lggy The Real is a Colombian artist composer and music producer based in the USA. Rock music is his main style but he studied Jazz and Classical singing in New York City and has performed with rock bands, jazz ensembles and opera companies throughout his career. In 2021 Iggy released his debut album (in English) written and produced by the artist in NYC. Iggy is currently working on his second album and debut en español that will be available in 2024. Iggy writes and produces for other artists as well.

Jean-marc Hébert: He is a guitarist and a composer, initially trained in classical guitar. He recorded about fifteen

albums in varius styles as a performer and also as a co-composer. His carrer has been influenced by explorations

outside jazz culture notably through world music.

Martin Iaies

Born: July 18, 1990

I come from a family of musicians: my father Adrian, jazz pianist (and composer, arranger, producer, educator); my grandmother Betty, his mother, piano teacher. Obviously my first instrument was the piano. When I was 4 years old, my dad sat me down at the piano, taught me the notes on the white keys and told me to call my grandmother on the phone so that she would be the one to take care of my education. 

As a teenager, out of rebelliousness but also because of musical tastes (RAMONES, Led Zeppelin, Divididos), came the desire to play the guitar. And one day chatting with my teacher at the time, I was about 16 years old, I came to the conclusion that nothing of what I saw at school interested me. Just making music.  

Hein Westgaard

Born: March 4, 1996

Hein Westgaard is a guitarist, improviser and composer from Oslo, currently based in Copenhagen.  He can be heard in the post-minimalistic quartet Ototoi, his own genre bending project Hein Westgaard Trio, in ad-hoc free improvised constellations, or in the solo acoustic guitar format where he focuses on his own instrumental songs in the fingerpicking tradition.

The members of Hein Westgaard Trio met in Copenhagen in 2017, and since then they have deepened and matured their unique form of interplay, preparing themselves for the international stage. 

Playing their very own kind of experimental music, Hein Westgaard Trio is clearly inspired by free improvisation and jazz, but also by country, rock, folk and classical music

I co-founded the Syracuse Guinness Irish Festival, serving as festival director from 1999-2003. Both of these community events continue to be popular in Syracuse, NY.

Born: November 30, 1997

Ron Magril (born November 30th, 1997) is a rising jazz guitarist and composer from Tel Aviv, Israel.

These days, He is performing regularly as a leader and as a sideman with leading artists such as ‘Sugarman 3’ , having played at some of the world’s most known Jazz festivals and venues.

He started his musical journey at a young age, with his classical violinist grandfather teaching him to play the violin, he then fell in love with the guitar, and studied at Israel’s top jazz schools.  Ron was awarded a scholarship from the “New school” in New York (2019), the AICF (2018-2020) and ‘Ran Baron’ excellence scholarships (2016). Ron was  supported by the Israel’s Ministry of culture and sports (2021).

Mario Castelberg

Born: April 12, 1995

Mario Castelberg (*1995, from Grub AR, CH) is a Swiss guitarist and composer. Castelberg studied at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts under Kalle Kalima and Frank Möbus, earning a Master of Arts in Music Jazz Performance and Composition under Ed Partyka, and graduated with the highest honors. Since then, he has been living in Lucerne and working as a freelance musician and instrumental pedagogue. He moves musically between modern jazz, free improvisation, psychedelic rock, and ambient and skillfully mixes these genres.
