Kaylene Peoples is what you call a quadruple threat. She was a model and 2-time Miss California; she is a vocalist with a rare 5-octave range, a multi-instrumentalist, and a prolific composer/arranger/conductor. Kaylene graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Composition and Ethnomusicology, and completed an elite Masters program in Film Scoring under the direction of Academy Award-winner composer Walter Scharf. She also mentored with Academy Award-winner composers David Raksin and Henry Mancini; and has even played piano side by side with Oscar winner film composer Jerry Goldsmith. Madeleine & Salomon

Madeleine & Salomon is the encounter of two artists with distinct musical backgrounds: the composer and pianist Alexandre Saada and the vocalist and flutist Clotilde Rullaud. Six years after their acclaimed first album, A Woman’s Journey, the duo releases its second album, Eastern Spring. Although this new album pays homage to the militant Middle Eastern pop of the 1960s-1970s – all gems, though most are unknown in the West – one recognises certain intonations of the previous album, which was devoted to the leading politically-aware songstresses of the American canon.

Ofer Shapiro

Ofer Shapiro is a Tel-Aviv based Saxophone/multi-wind performer and Jazz composer/arranger.

His delicate, melodious playing style has been described as 'sweetly subversive, music that woos and insinuates' by the New-York based jazz critic Michael Steinman.

Ofer has played lead alto with many bands and large groups including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. the Eli Degibri big band, the Eyal Vilner big band and many others. He has played with many Tel-Aviv based small groups such as the Mamelo Gaitanopolous Sextet, the Danny Rosenfeld Octet and his own jazz quartet.

Matías Formica

Born: December 11, 1986

Born in the city of La Plata. Flutist, saxophonist, composer and arranger. He began his studies of transverse flute at the age of 14 (year 2000) with maestro Martín Saenz. He studied with Pablo Ledesma, Rodrigo Domínguez, Juan Pablo Di leone, Juan Pablo Arredondo, among others. In 2013 he attended the workshops of popular music in Curitiba (Brazil), participating in the MPB (Brazilian popular music) ensemble in charge of André Marques and the improvisation perception workshop in charge of Lea Freire.  In 2019 he attended the SIM program in New York, and took classes with Tony Malaby, Tim Berne, Ralph Alessi among others. He participated in various projects, as instrumentalist arranger and composer, Matías Formica group, Mingus Project, El Domo, Quinteto Ledesma / Alarcón / Edward / Carracedo / Formica, José Perez Vargas Group (JPV), H.u.M.o, among several others.

Amber Navran is a LA based singer, producer, and woodwind player. She is a member of the neo-soul trio Moonchild. With Moonchild she has 4 albums out and tours world wide, opening for acts like Jill Scott, Stevie Wonder, The Internet, and Kamasi Washington. She also has two solo projects out as a producer, and guests frequently on other peoples projects, including Rapsody, 9th Wonder, R+R=NOW, Chris Dave and Daniel Crawford.

Zhivko Vasilev

Zhivko Vasilev is one of the most popular Bulgarian kaval players. He is well known for his experiments with the kaval and the constant seeking for unexplored paths in music. Thanks to his experimental spirit he is constantly driven to combine traditional kaval sound with different western styles such as jazz, funk, latin, latin jazz, pop, electronic music and many more. The result of this incredible symbiosis is an exotic and unique style that he constantly improves. He hails from the Southern city of Smolyan, Bulgaria in the heart of the Rhodopi mountains. He inherited his love of music from his father and began his early training on the kaval at the NUI Dobri Hristov music school in Varna, Bulgaria

MarieVeronique Bourque

Marie-Véronique (MV) Bourque, an extremely talented artist from Saskatchewan, is not afraid to think and act outside the box. Her original songs and unique interpretations of jazz standards (by flute and voice) pair beautifully with her musical genre that can be described as ‘Velvet tuxedos and dry martini’.

Featured artist in a double bill with Derrick Gardner during the 2022 YYC International Jazz Days Festival in Calgary and the 2022 Saskatchewan International Jazz Festival in Saskatoon, Marie-Véronique was a nominee for the 2021 Trille Or and the 2021 Saskatchewan Music Awards. She is also one of the winners of the 2021 Jazz Flute Big Band competition organized by the National Flute Association.
