Flutist, composer, arranger, producer, educator, business owner, Andrea Brachfeld, is a graduate of The High School of Music and Art and the Manhattan School of Music. Study with Hubert Laws, Jimmy Heath, George Coleman, and Mike Longo helped her develop her own improvisational style. Since she began her professional career as a musician at age 16, she has recorded and played many different genres of music including funk, Country Western, Charanga, Salsa, Latin Jazz, devotional music and Jazz. Some of the many artists she has associated with include Wayne Wallace, Bobby Carcassés, Oscar Hernandez, Alfredo de la Fé, Ralph Irrizarry, Tito Puente, Ray Barretto, Joe Newman, Hubert Laws, Nestor Torres, Dave Valentín, Paquito D’Rivera, Kenwood Dennard, Hilton Ruiz, Steve Turre, Wycliffe Gordon, Wallace Roney, and Bill O’ Connell among many others. Her breakthrough performance as the flutist for the popular Latin band Charanga ’76, catapulted her into Salsa history and fame as the first female flutist to play this music in the United States. As a high school student, she received the “Louis Armstrong Award for Outstanding Student” from Jazz Interactions, an organization created by Joe and Rigmor Newman

François Richard was born October 9, 1956. His father is a photographer and his mother a musician. François Richard inherited of a sound musical education. At the age of 10, he had the privilege to be tutored by the great master of classical music Jean-Pierre Rampal, and his student from the Conservatoire de Paris, Gail Grimstead. In 1970 he studied flute with professor Jean-Paul Major and piano at the Conservatoire de musique du Québec à Montréal. In his early twenties, he founded L'Orchestre Sympathique with Jean Vanasse, vibraphonist, and obtained the Premier Prix du Conseil canadien de la musique - First Prize at the Canadian Music Council

Tom Povse Jazz Trio
Flutist, composer, film-scorer Tom Povse has played the flute for thirty years. He has performed at the Pacific Coast Jazz Festival, many clubs and private venues in the Bay Area, in jazz big bands, and combos. He performed in the top jazz combo at the Stanford Jazz Workshop, mentored by Rufus Reid. He has studied with classical flute soloists Isabelle Chapuis and Angela Koregelos. Jack Marshall has played both fretless and fretted electric bass around the San Francisco Bay Area since the late 70's. His styles range from the Jazz standards through Latin music to the Blues and Rock and Roll. He has played at such prestigious venues as the Monterey Jazz Festival, the Montreux Jazz Festival, and Yoshi's and has toured extensively in Europe. Mike Cohen has played extensively throughout the Bay area (Yoshi's, Kuumba, Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, KCSM, KKUP), and internationally (Montreux Jazz Festival)

Born in Argentina (1978). Rodriguez arrived to Spain in 1986, where he spent most of his childhood. At an early age, he began to study modern and classical music. Between the years of 1993-1999, Rodrigo tutored at home enrolled with several teachers of classical guitar until he was 22 years old. Rodrigo's professional music career began in Spain. It was there that he discovered his first asian instrument the Shakuhachi flute. Fascinated by Japanese music, he travelled to Japan several times to enhance his knowledge. He studied classical and traditional Japanese music under the lineages of Katsuya Yokoyama with the Master Kakizakai Kaoru in the International Shakuhachi Kenshu-kan School

Twice invited to perform at the prestigious National Flute Association Convention, Watson was also one of two American flutists chosen in 2001 to study with internationally acclaimed flutist, Göran Marcusson at his summer master class, "The Nordic Flute." Karen Stachel is an American Flutist, concentrating on jazz and classical music. She co-leads a jazz band, LehCats with her husband Norbert Stachel and has collaborated in performances and recordings with notable musicians from the jazz and classical music world, notably Wallace Roney, Bob Weir and Rat Dog, Buster Williams, Lenny White, Barry Harris and others. The Wallace Roney Orchestra was developed to showcase music written by Wayne Shorter. This music was never recorded. In the spring of 2016, the 24 orchestra recorded this huge score at Water Music in Hoboken, New Jersey. It will be released early 2017

Dvir Katz is a graduate of the Rubin Academy of Music in Jerusalem, where he studied flute with Mr. Roman Kunsman and composition with Mr. Vyacheslav Ganelin. He is the founder of "Chameleon Trio", which performs his original compositions, influenced by modern classical music and free jazz. Alongside with performing original material, he is a member of various music groups, among others are Julia Feldman Ensemble, "Musica Ficta" (which performs original progressive rock by Ehud Horev), "Gernica" - flamenco/world music compositions by Ido Bar-Zakay and more. Dvir Katz plays regularly with prominent figures in the field of improvised music in Israel and he has performed in the Shuni Jazz Festival in Benyamina, the Israel Festival at the Jerusalem Theater, the Abu Gosh International Festival, Beresheet World Music Festival and many other events and festivals. Dvir`s composition is inspired from a wide scale of styles from the early 20th century composers to contemporary music figures, among those- Edgar Varez, Thelonious Monk, Béla Bartók, Ornette Coleman, Louis Sclavis, Sergey Prokofiev, "King Crimson", Gyorgy Ligeti, Eric Dolphy, Paco de Lucia, Frank Zappa, Vyacheslav Ganelin and many other composers and musicians
