Fikret is from İstanbul, Turkey. He started to learn music when he was 12. He started to work on jazz when he was 17. He worked and still works with world wide known musical genius Aydin Esen. He plays the guitar and the trumpet. He is also a composer. He composes modern jazz and modern classical music. Everything he plays and composes is about a true life story. Fikret Erenyol studies jazz in New Orleans with scholarship; worked with some of the best names in jazz community. However, he took a year off and came back to Turkey for Elsewhere Duo. He is going to go back to New Orleans for Fall 2012. He is the guitar player of Elsewhere Duo
