Jaehyun Cho

Jaehyun Cho was born and grew up in Seoul, South Korea. He began playing electric bass when he was seventeen. From 2008 to 2010, He served in the Korean Air Force band as a bassist and attended the international military band festival in Rotterdam, Netherlands as a member of Korean national military band in 2009. Although Jaehyun is a native of Seoul, South Korea, his career began when he moved to Los Angeles in 2012 and attended California State University, Northridge where he studied and performed with Gary Pratt, Dave Robaire. Gary Fukushima and Mike Mull among many others. In 2018, he moved to New York City, and he attended the masters program at NYU where he studied with Drew Gress, Billy Drummond, Ari Horning, Alan Ferber, Mike Rodriguez and Billy Drews

Berklee College of Music Class of 2021, dual major in Bass Performance and Jazz Composition I have been playing both electric and upright bass for 13 years and have experience playing all styles of music. My specialties include metal, jazz, funk, R&B/soul, progressive/fusion (rock, jazz, funk), Latin/Brazilian, and world music (Mediterranean, Arabic, Circus). I also have experience playing pop, rock, country, and extensive musical theater pit orchestra experience. One of my strengths is sight reading and the ability to create bass lines that are melodic while still maintaining the foundational role of the bass. I have experience touring (Mystical Hot Chocolate Endeavors, The Witching Hour tour, October 2019) and played in the backing band for Youtube-famous comedian Chris Fleming at his Boston stand-up comedy show in 2018 at the Wilbur Theater.

Tim Aucoin is a nationally recognized music educator and bassist. He is a native of New Orleans, but now resides in Atlanta, GA. Tim has performed internationally with many diverse acts such as Grammy nominated jazz vocalist - Nnenna Freelon, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, the Mamas and the Papas, Allen Toussaint, Pete Fountain, Luther Kent and Trickbag, and the Georgia Symphony Jazz Orchestra. Ryan Burns studied piano at Berklee School of Music in Boston, and has been teaching and playing music professionally for over 20 years. He has performed with Rock and Roll Hall-of- Famers Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin, Yardbirds), Matt Cameron (Pearl Jam, Soundgarden), Mike McCready (Pearl Jam), Ann & Nancy Wilson (Heart), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Rick Nielson (Cheap Trick) and Duff MacKagan (Guns and Roses); as well as with elite jazz artists such as Wayne Horvitz, Skerik, Matt Jorgensen, Thomas Marriott, Bobby Previte, Bobby Watson and others. Burns has played piano with the Tacoma Symphony, wrote music for the Food Network TV show “Food Nation with Bobby Flay,” and played piano with the group Thunderpussy for the soundtrack of the Hollywood movie “Fighting with My Family.” Burns spent time on faculty at University of Puget Sound and Pacific Lutheran University

AmooMazz

Maziyar Khavajiyan, aka AmooMazz (born August 21, 1986), is a music producer, composer, sound designer, bassist, singer-songwriter, and art director from the Middle East. He began his career in 2005 as a photographer and session musician in the pop music scene and was a former member of the alternative rock bands Majid Kazemi and Comment Band.
In 2012, Maziyar released his first EP, Fana (Annihilation), inspired by the mystical concepts of Sufism. In 2015, he co-founded #Tehran Band, an electronic-urban duet project in collaboration with sound engineer and record producer Mrz.Asghari (WoolWave), releasing two studio albums. After leaving Iran in 2009, Maziyar moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where he attended the Cultural Center of University Malaya. Between 2010 and 2014, he performed at several music festivals as a fusion jazz artist.
