I've been involved in a professional music context for too long to count! 30 years or more if you want to include what was probably my first gig with a friends uncle at a legion when i was about 16 years 'young'.. This past year (2010) I've been blessed to be able to play with a very diverse and great group of musicians/performers: Nico Rhodes, Marisha Devoin, Doug Dodd, Joelle Rabu, Darcy Phillips,Tony Wilson, Scott White, Sara Jeanne Hosie, Miles Black, Monik Nordine, Joanna Finch, Sean Mooney, Aaron Cadwaladr , Nathan Tinkham, and many other musicians deserving of wider recognition - James Darling, Cam Wigmore, Brad Shipley, Marty Hilchey as well as the fine musicians involved in a project called "The Big Bossa"

Bryan Bisordi

Throughout his professional playing career, drummer and percussioninst Bryan Bisordi has performed with a wide range of musicians. These experiences have taken him all over the US and abroad, led to television and radio appearances on the BBC (UK) and RTE (Ireland), and included performances at Lincoln Center and Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, Blue Note Jazz Clubs in Japan, and hundreds of other venues in NYC and around the country. As a percussionist, Bryan is called on to perform in theater and with professional symphony orchestras and percussion ensembles. In 2005 Bryan recorded with hip-hop group Othello and the Hipknotics for Japanese label Miclife

Quinlan Kirchner

Quinlan Kirchner first started his drumming carreer at the young age of 10 studying at the famed Academy of Movement and Music and Merit Music Program of Chicago. His early exposure to expressive arts and dedicated practice led him to earn a Basin Street Scholarship to the University of New Orleans, led by Ellis Marsalis, at the age of 18. There, Kirchner learned under the guidance of the city’s drumming masters including Ricky Sebastian, Jason Marsalis, Troy Davis and Johnny Vidacovich and his undergraduate studies led to a B.A. in Music, Jazz Studies, and the Gregory Frederico Senior of the Year Award

George Fludas was born in Chicago on October 10, 1966. His interest in drumming began when he was very young due to the influence of his father, who played drums and was an avid jazz fan. His father taught him the basics and frequently took George to see the great jazz drummers, such as Art Blakey, Max Roach and Buddy Rich. He majored in music at Lane Tech High School and attended Roosevelt University in 1985-86, majoring in percussion. He left school in 1987 to learn his craft first hand by playing in Chicago clubs with local greats like Von Freeman, Jodie Christian and Lin Halliday, as well as in groups with the area's top young musicians of the day, including Ron Blake, Jesse Davis, David Hazeltine, Bobby Broom, and Eric Alexander. Over the past 20 years he has performed at concert halls, festivals, and clubs throughout North America, Europe and Asia with numerous jazz greats, including Kenny Burrell, Betty Carter, Junior Cook, Lou Donaldson, Tommy Flanagan, Benny Golson, Benny Green, Eric Reed, Johnny Griffin, Roy Hargrove, Barry Harris, Hank Jones, Buddy Montgomery, David "Fathead" Newman, Nicholas Payton, Marlena Shaw, Dr

Jeremy Cunningham

Born:

Jeremy Cunningham is a drummer, composer, and improviser. Originally from Cincinnati, he moved to Chicago in 2009, where he currently performs and composes as an integral part of the city’s vibrant music scene. As a teenager, Cunningham grew serious about performing music during his time with a jam band called “Ray’s Music Exchange.” There, he learned the intricacies of playing with a large group, and dove headlong into the jazz of the late 60s and early 70s. He holds a Bachelors of Music from the College Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, where he studied with professor John Von Ohlen, whose zen, loose approach toward drumming continues to inform Cunningham’s technique today
