Marco Anderson - Drums, keyboards and soundscapes. (Bristol) A drummer, guitarist and keyboard player with an extremely varied background in music and in particular jazz. He has played with Eduardo and Antonio Forcione, recorded with UK reedsman Tony Roberts, US giants George Brooks and Steve Vai on the acclaimed first Saurang Orchestra album, Dennis Rollins (Courteney Pine) Andy Sheppard, John Paricelli, Carl Orr and with singer Najma Akthar, (Plant & Page). He was percussionist in Viv Stanshall's opera "Stinkfoot". More recent projects include the power fusion group Paroksha featuring Paul Dunmall and John Serry and Tony McPhee’s Goundhogs

Max Andrzejewski

Max Andrzejewski (b. 1986) is a composer and improvising drummer who lives in Berlin.

His energetic musical work finds itself on the border between contemporary classical music and improvisation. The “maverick esthete” (Süddeutsche Zeitung) Andrzejewski studied drums at the MHS Cologne and the UdK Berlin and, parallel to his work as a drummer, developed into a sought-after composer.

He has received composition commissions from the Acht Brücken Festival Cologne, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, the Beethovenfest Bonn, the Ensemble Resonanz Hamburg, the Podium Festival Esslingen, the Kamermusikfestival Regensburg, the Orchester im Treppenhaus, the Berliner Ensemble, the aDevantgarde Festival Munich, the Thalia Theater Hamburg, the Munich Kammerspiele, the Theater Basel, the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin and many more.

Steve Olson

Originally from Iowa, Steve lives near Westmister, Maryland, and plays in the Washington, DC and Baltimore areas. Steve has performed and/or recorded with Michael Formanek, Dave Ballou, Tony Martucci, Anthony Pirog, Susan Alcorn, Jeff Antoniuk, Todd Marcus, and many others. He currently performs as part of the Baltimore-based free improv collective Out of Your Head, which presents bi-monthly concerts at The Windup Space. For six years Steve was the drummer for BSQ (Bob Schwartz Quartet).

Chris Broomhead

A native of Melbourne and currently residing in Nashville, Tennessee, Chris is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts and Monash University and works in a variety of settings and projects as a drummer, composer, producer, leader and teacher. His trio project Refraction, which also features Brenton Foster on piano and Jordan Tarento on double bass, released their debut album As We Were in March 2015 and it was nominated for Best Jazz Album in The Age Music Victoria Awards of that year. Their follow-up recording entitled Inerrant Space was released in May of 2016 and their third album Reimagined was released in June 2017

Clarence Becton

Born:

Born December 16, 1933 in Mississippi, Clarence Becton moved at age twelve to Buffalo, N.Y. He worked locally with Pete Johnson, Don Menza, Don Ellis, and Wade Legge. Clarence also performed at the 'Royal Arms Club', playing for soloists like Coleman Hawkins, Clark Terry, John Hendricks. He left Buffalo with Hendricks touring the U.S. and Canada. In 1969 Clarence moved to Munich, working at the ‘Domicile Jazz Club’ and other locations with Pony Poindexter, Benny Bailey, Slide Hampton, Lucky Thompson, Mal Waldron, Dusko Goykovich and many other artists. Upon returning to the U.S
