Shane Peck is a drummer and composer from Seattle, Washington. Peck studied music at Cornish College of the Arts from 1987 to 1992. Shane has since worked in many groups in the Seattle area including Jumbalassy, Laguna, Lushy, Pretty Abandoned Quintet, Valerie Joyce, Soular Ensemble, Mr. & Mrs. Muffins, The Nines, '80s Invasion, Poland and others. Shane is called on to cover many styles of music including world beat, jazz, avant-garde/improvisational, pop, latin, lounge/exotica and electronica.

Tobias Gebb is a drummer, composer and educator based in New York City. Over the years he has shared the stage or recording studio with a wide variety of artists. From Blue Note jazz guitarist Peter Burnstein to Donald Fegan of Steely Dan. From the famed west coast jazz pianist Smith Dobson to the famed rocker Lenny Kravits. He has a BA in composition from Berklee College of Music, an MA from Manhattan School of Music and a dual MSE in general and special education from The Bank Street School. His album Free At Last featuring Bobby Watson was in the Top 10 on American jazz radio charts in 2009 and through his licensing business his group Trio West has been heard on shows such as Dexter, Madam Secretary, Key and Peele, Pitch Perfect and others.

Steve Johns

Steve Johns was born Stephen Samuel Johns November 25,1960 in Boston, MA and began playing the drums at the age of nine. Mr. Johns grew up in a very musical family. His mother, Goldie Tyler Johns, was a songwriter and three of her brothers were jazz musicians. One of these brothers was the late great Jimmy “Bottoms up”Tyler, a well- known jazz saxophonist that would prove to be Steve’s biggest musical influence and inspiration. At the age of fifteen, Steve decided to pursue jazz as a life long ambition. Steve’s uncle Jimmy suggested that he should get serious and study with the great drummer and master teacher Alan Dawson

Diego Maldonado

Venezuelan Drummer and Composer, graduated from The Collective School of Music in New York City in 2003 under the guidance of such greats drummers as Kim Plainfield, Peter Retzlaff, Michael Laurent, Memo Acevedo, Fred Klatz. Since Diego went back to Venezuela has worked with some of the most important Venezuelan Jazz musicians like: Pablo Gil, Leo Blanco, Alfredo Naranjo, Biella DaCosta, Cesar Orozco, Ensemble Nuevas Almas, Juan Angel Esquivel Trio, Antonio Mazzei, Oscar Fanega, Luca Vincenzetti Trio, Rigel Mitxelena, Laurent Lecuyer, Prisca Davila, Virginia Ramirez, Hugo Fuguet, Gonzalo Teppa, among many others. Besides his work as a session drummer, Diego gained recognition teaching at one of the best jazz academies in Venezuela called “Taller de Jazz Caracas”. Jaz Sawyer
Jaz Sawyer (with one “Z”) began playing drums at age of 2 in the Haight Ashbury district of San Francisco, California. His musical studies has taken him through the music programs at the Ruth Asawa School of the Arts, San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Stanford Jazz Workshop and The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. Jaz possesses an eclectic and refined personal style of drumming that stems from his deep roots in his Classical, Jazz, West-African and Afro-Caribbean musical training. Jaz has worked with many notable artists, including Wynton Marsalis, Abbey Lincoln, George Benson, Bobby Hutcherson, Jacky Terrasson and Dee Dee Bridgewater in some of the world’s premier concert venues, including The Blue Note, The Village Vanguard, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center and the Sydney Opera House.
