Norbert Dömling

Norbert Dömling - double bassist, electric bassist, composer - began his musical career in 1973 in the band "Missus Beastly", a Krautrock band with jazz and world music influences.

Since then he has played concerts with top musicians all over the world and participated in numerous LPs, CDs, radio and TV recordings. (Toto Blanke, Biréli Lagrène, Joachim Kühn, Jasper van ́t Hoff, Stu Goldberg, Billy Cobham, Trilok Gurtu, Ramesh Shotam, Christoph Lauer, Charlie Mariano, Tony Lakatos, Toots Thielemans, Tomasz Stańko, among others).

He was the initiator of projects like "Jazz meets Tango", a trio with Juan José Mosalini on bandoneon or "Family of Percussion meets Bass-Strings" with Peter Giger, Tom Nicholas and Dom Um Romão (percussion), Vitold Rek and Jürgen Wuchner on double bass and played with Ali Neander in the "Fifty Fingers Acoustic Orchestra".
