Cosmic Swing Orchestra

Cosmic Swing Orchestra is a Norwegian jazz orchestra blending a wide range of musical influences with political satire and theatrical performance. Formed in 2018 by pianist and musical director Petter Dalane, the ensemble features several of Norway’s most active young jazz and pop musicians.

Through playfulness, humor, and a strong sense of togetherness, Cosmic Swing Orchestra offers a response to contemporary commercialism, climate denial, and warmongering. The group’s aesthetics, music, and the collective band structure itself resonate conceptually with each other to create a distinctive countercultural expression.

Still the EP only gives a taste of what one can expect to experience from her live concerts. The release of "Now You Hear It" was followed by a winter tour with concerts in Germany, Norway, Sweden and Denmark and she is currently working on her debut album which will be releasen in the spring of 2026.
