Roger Aldridge

Born in 1946 in Kansas City, MO, Roger Aldridge discovered jazz as a child thanks to his mother’s collection of big band recordings. Roger started on alto saxophone when he was 9 and developed an interest in composition in his early teens. This led him to study composition & arranging at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. At Berklee, Roger studied jazz composition with Herb Pomeroy and Charlie Mariano, classical composition with William Maloof and John Bavicchi, and woodwinds with Joe Viola. Aleksandra Kutrzepa Quartet

Aleksandra Kutrzepa Quartet was formed in December 2015. Members of the band are graduates the Karol Szymanowski Music Academy in Katowice and Institute Of Music of the Art Department in Lublin. The band's repertoire consists of original compositions combining elements of contemporary jazz and free jazz with illustrative music. For a long time the band worked on a common sound, which is a priority for each member, and is created by the unconventional use of electronics supporting the color of acoustic instruments. In May 2018, the band released their debut album "Impressions". Album "Impressions" hit in December 2018 on the list of the 5 best jazz debuts in Poland

Kamil Abt

Kamil Abt is a Polish-Australian jazz guitarist, composer, band-leader and arranger. He is a graduate of the prestigious Elder Conservatorium of Music and has been performing internationally – in Australia, Japan and Europe – for over twenty years. His musical career started in Australia, in Steve Mooney’s hard bop quintet, “Fifth House”. It was there that he also led his own jazz formations: Mosholu Parkway, Jazzyowski and SpeciaL K, also working with musicians such as Adam Page, Daniel J. Ross, Constantinos Koutsouliotas and John Wilson. In Japan he worked in renowned alto saxophone player Hiroshi Yaginuma’s quintet as well as with the Atsushi Matsunaga quartet, while also leading his own quartet

With 6 recordings as a leader Juan D Arango is in a constant exploration of concepts where improvisation plays a very important role in the development of compositions. Currently, Juan is playing with AKA TRIO, MÈDULLA and AHUM. On february 2018 he forms a duo called Mèdulla with drummer Pedro Acosta, the duo explores the pc as part of the music and the timbre, they improvise over original compositions, standards and popular songs. Also, alongside Pedro Acosta and Kike Harker, on 2018 they decided to start a new project, trio style AKA TRIO. The trio have a strong influence of 1950´s BlueNote Artists such as Jackie McLean, Lee Morgan, Louis Smith, Hank Mobley, Kenny Drew, Curtis Fuller, Sonny Stitt among others and a great influence by Colombia roots music

Ralph Hepola

Ralph Hepola was born into a Scandinavian-American family in Saint Paul, Minnesota in the United States where his early eclectic musical interests led to piano study before starting on the tuba at age twelve. At seventeen, he was chosen to play before the British Royal Family in the Manitoba All-Province Band at Brandon University in Manitoba, Canada. While still in high school, Ralph began performing as an extra musician with the Minnesota Orchestra, which later included recordings, and tours to Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York City. While still a teenager, Ralph won a position with The United States Army Band of Washington, D.C. At age twenty, he won a full scholarship to the Manhattan School of Music in the Young Artist Competition of the Minnesota Orchestra/WAMSO.

Ada Rovatti

Italian native Ada Rovatti started playing saxophone in high school after years of classical piano training.

After winning a scholarship from Berklee College of Music in Italy she divided herself between Boston where she studied with Joe Viola, George Garzone and Fred Lipsius and Italy where she was regular working in Big Band with guest artists such as:  Phil Woods, Lee Konitz and many more.

 After spending one year in Paris touring Europe and Africa she moved in New York City. She has performed in important festivals  such as JVC in NYC Rochester Jazz Festival, IAJE, Detroit Jazz Fest, Montreal Jazz Fest, San Francisco Jazz Fest, NorthSea Jazz Fest and a regular on the JazzCruise, appearing  and performing with an impressive and diverse list of artists and bands such as: Mike Stern, John McLaughlin,  Anne Ducros, Bob Mintzer, Victor Bailey, Joanne Brackeen, Tony Levin, John McLaughlin , James Moody, Aretha Franklin, Herbie Hancock, Jimmy Heath, Patti Austin, Joe Bonamassa and many others.

Katerina Brown

Born in 1982 in a small town outside St. Petersburg, Katerina Brown was drawn to music as an infant. Jazz and American records were still hard to come by in the waning years of the Soviet Union, but she soaked up her father’s albums by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. Studying classical music throughout her adolescence, she started performing in local clubs as a teenager, singing mostly blues and standards. Ambitious and eager to learn more, she moved to St. Petersburg at 19 and quickly fell in with a cadre of young musicians who loved and played jazz. A savvy bandleader by 21, she started performing regularly at the Red Lion Blues Club, which was owned by an American, and spent the next five years working steadily around the city as a blues singer

Tobiasz Siankiewicz

Tobiasz Siankiewicz is a Polish saxophonist and flautist based in New York City. After arriving in New York in 2012, Siankiewicz earned a degree in jazz performance from the City College of New York in 2017. During his time at CCNY he had the opportunity to study and/or perform with Steve Wilson, Jon Gordon, Jason Rigby, Mike Holober, Scott Reeves, Daniel Carillo, Dr. Lonnie Smith and Marvin Stamm. In 2018, he recorded his debut album with quintet entitled Time to Begin featuring musicians such as Bruce Harris and Clovis Nicolas. Born in Poland, Siankiewicz began his formal training at the age of 12
