Constantin Krahmer
He is also very active as a sideman in various ensembles, e.g. Maik Krahl Quartett, Radius, Filán Quartett, Alexander Bühl Sextett, Synthimania, Ampair:e, Zuzana Leharova Quartett, and many more. In 2011 he won the 2nd place of the solo piano competition "Steinway Förderpreis Jazz" in Düsseldorf. Numerous tours included performances in Poland, Austria, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Netherlands, England, Russia and the Philippines.
In April 2021, Constantin had an eleven-day residency with the band Ampair:e at the Maschinenhaus Essen, sponsored by the Music Fund of the German Government, the Kunststiftung NRW and the Cultural Office of the City of Essen. During this residency 4 concert videos were produced, which will be released at the end of August 2021.
In 2021 Constantin founded his label Yew Records (www.yew-records.com) to release interesting, contemporary jazz albums, including the debut album of his band Close Up (Feb 2022), his trio album with Thomas Morgan and Leif Berger (later 2022) as well as a completely improvised, electronic album of the band Ampair:e feat.
