Jade Collective

Jade Collective is an NYC based indie-jazz band led by Jan Esbra and Catey Esler. Their music is influenced by their diverse musical backgrounds, drawing from alternative rock to folk to create a sound all their own. In September 2016, Jade Collective released their debut album Clarity which was successfully crowdfunded through Indiegogo. Since their start in 2016, Jade Collective has toured as supporting act for world-renowned singer-songwriter, Becca Stevens and has held residencies at The Middle East in Boston as well as The Shrine & Silvana in New York. In 2016 their original song “Beyond the Last Thought” won a Downbeat Student Music Award for Undergraduate College Outstanding Composition. Jade Collective is set to release, Cycles, a brand new 5-track EP in December 2020

Marco Moura

azz guitarist and composer, based in London, originally from Porto, Portugal. With punk and psychdelic rock backgrounds, I've started to study jazz in 2012 in Porto. In 2018, enrolled the Jazz BA in Middlesex University in London. During these last years I've been playing with many people from the scene in Porto, working on function gigs and also with original music. In 2018 I also started to work in my original with my quartet, that has a line-up from Porto and another from London, recording an EP in London in the beginning of 2019, realising an album soon this year. In London aside from my studies he play, record and give lessons regularly

Shay Hazan

Born: November 22, 1989

Bassist and composer Shay Hazan, based in Tel-Aviv, presents his latest group release with new reflections and directions. The band, two-horns strong and backed by the classic piano, bass and drums unit, continues to strike ripples in their near and farther surroundings. Pavel Wlosok

Born: March 29, 1973

Czech born American pianist, composer, arranger, educator, music engineer, producer, and photographer Pavel Wlosok (*1973) started to play the piano when he was five years old. He received his classical education in piano performance and composition at the Janacek Conservatory of Music in OSTRAVA (1987 - 1993) in the classes of Mr. Zdenek Pecek and Mr. Igor Katajev, and at the Janacek Academy of Music (JAMU) in BRNO (1993 - 1995) in the class of Prof. Arnost Parsch (both Czech Republic). Pedro Melo Alves

Born: December 27, 1991

Pedro Melo Alves is one of the most prominent drummers and composers in the recent avant-garde music scene in Portugal. Explorer of the expanded possibilities of percussion, improviser, ambitious composer for small and large formations, his work is known for the exploratory attitude and for boldy intersectioning different aesthetic circuits from jazz and erudite, to electronic, experimental and rock music.

Having been awarded with multiple awards and nominations (Bernardo Sassetti Composition Award, Premio Internazionale Giorgio Gaslini, El Intruso Best Revelation Group), he's been increasingly present in the international music scene, presenting his projects in events such as Jazzahead (Germany), 12 Points Festival (Dublin), Europe Jazz Conference (Portugal), Saalfelden Jazz Festival (Austria), Ljubljana Jazz Festival (Slovenia), Suoni Per Il Popolo (Canada), Südtirol Jazz Festival (Italy) or Jazz em Agosto (Portugal).

Nicoló Ricci

Born: April 14, 1987

I was born in 1987 and I grew up in Sesto San Giovanni, an industrial town in the north of Milan, Italy. I was lucky enough to be brought up in a stimulating and creative family environment and soon I began to show interest towards music. By the age of 12 I received a saxophone as a gift from my mother and I started my studies, first in a local music school and then in the Conservatory G.Verdi of Milan. While still a student I threw myself into the jazz music scene of Milan and I began to perform throughout Italy.

During my career, I had the chance to play with great musicians such as:Steve Swallow, Adam Nussbaum, Jesper Bodilsen, Gerald Cannon, Paolino Dalla Porta, Antonio Zambrini, Roberto Gatto, Giovanni Falzone, Andrea Dulbecco, Pietro Tonolo, Tino Tracanna, Marco Vaggi, Achille Succi, Bebo Ferra, Giulio Corini, Alfonso Santimone, Francesco Lento, Harris Eisenstadt, Joe Fonda, Roberto Rossi, Roberto Cecchetto, Fausto Beccalossi, Greg Burk, David Binney, Reinier Baas, Ben Van Gelder, Mark Schilders, Bo van der Werf, Clemens van de Feen.

Maarten Ornstein

Maarten Ornstein is a Dutch musician based in Amsterdam. He plays tenor saxophone, clarinet and bass clarinet and also works as a composer and arranger. On occasion he plays tarogato, electric saxophone, MPC and laptop computers. He leads the free funk ensemble DASH! and performs as a soloist. Additionally, he plays with lutist Mike Fentross, singer Rima Khcheich, poet and singer Jeannine Valeriano. and pianist Sunna Gunnlaugs. Mike Adcock

Born: May 17, 1950

Played in different and between genres, exploring aspects of jazz, blues, traditional music, experimental and free improv. Primarily a pianist I also play accordion, guitar and a variety of percussion, with a particular interest in musical stone. I have recordings released with various bands (including Accordions Go Crazy, Poorboys, Cadillac Kings, Wanderlust) and in collaboration with others (including Lol Coxhill, Sylvia Hallett, Clive Bell, Chris Cundy, Paul Jolly). More recent releases include "In the case of darkness" (33 Jazz), "Accord" (Linear Obsessional Recordings) "Sheffield" [Flying Down Trio] (Wavetable) and "Wanderlust" (Paper Label Records).
