Cleve has been playing drums since 1961. He plays multiple styles: Jazz, Funk, Latin (Brazil and Cuban) rhythms, Rock, Fusion, R&B, etc. Cleve has been playing major venues in the Phoenix area with convention support groups and has been a show player since 1981. As a show player, Cleve has played with such names as Roger Williams, Maureen McGovern, the Lawrence Welk troupe, Bob Hope, George Burns, Jerry Vale, Al Martino, Carol Channing, Sherry Lewis, Sadler and Young, Blackstone the Magician, Eddie Fisher, Shirley Jones, the Diamonds, Leslie Gore, Don Rickles, Rodney Dangerfield, Danny Gans, Perry Como, Dom DeLuise, Frankie Carle and many more
