Chris Taylor

Guitarist Chris Taylor seemed to burst upon the scene with his release “Nocturnal,” (Abstract Logix) but the truth of the matter is, he is a well seasoned veteran with a lifetime of experience and an artist who is finally getting the recognition and accolades he deserves. Chris Taylor: Never Make Your Move Too Soon

That was thirty years ago, and Taylor's never looked back, gigging in every imaginable situation, and exploiting his natural bent ...

Guitarist-Composer Chris Taylor Casts a Spell with Nocturnal Auspicious debut by new discovery due out on Abstract Logix in May

Seemingly from out of nowhere, New York-based guitarist-composer Chris Taylor has emerged after nearly 30 years on the scene with a brilliant, fully-realized first album as a leader. And though it's been a long time in coming, Nocturnal may be the most auspicious debut of the year. Reflecting the influences of such potent bands as Weather ...

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded albums and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, limited reopenings and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary step that will help musicians and venues now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the sticky footer ad). Thank you!
