His new album, « Monk’s Mood » (Hypnote 2023), with major europeans musicians, already impresses with its rereading of Thelonious Monk’s repertoire.

In addition Vincent has played with Bob Mover, Godwin Louis, Jerome Sabbagh, David Bryant, Franck Agulhon, Dre Pallemaerts, Bo Van Der Werf, Fabian Fiorini and Jean Louis Rassinfosse among other.

Nicolas Chkifi

Drummer, improviser, composer, music educator, and yoga teacher Nicolas Chkifi is based in Belgium. 
Born from a Moroccan father and a Belgian mother,
Chkifi has evolved in the jazz and improvised music scenes since 2002.

He has been studying with drummers and composers such as Stephane Galland, Dre Pallemaerts, Jim Black, Billy Hart, Tyshawn Sorey, Dan Weiss, and Susie Ibarra.

He has collaborated with a host of artists on many scenes including Josh Berman, Larry Ochs, Darren Johnston, Dave Rempis, Tashi Dorji, John Dikeman, Susie Ibarra, Marta Warelis, Jozef Dumoulin, Augusto Pirodda, Jeroen van Herzeele, Gregor Siedl, Jan Rzewski, Pierre Vaiana, Audrey Lauro, Hugo Antunes, Lennart Heyndels, Frans van Isacker, Giovanni Di Domenico, Pak Yan Lau, Ruben Machtelinckx, Nils Vermeulen, Mathieu Robert, Julien Tassin and many others.

From a music-lover family, Pierre-Antoine Savoyat blows his first notes on cornet at the Conservatoire de Villefranche-sur-Saône (France). Curious and passionate, he tries and dug a lot of different music styles (free improvisation, jazz, piano, trending music,...) during his teenage years. As a self-taught musician, he composes his first bars at only eight years old. After studying at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Chalon sur Saône, where he obtains a triple musical diploma in Jazz (Olivier Py, Fred Nardin...) Classical Trumpet (Eric Planté) and Orchestral Conducting, and he also follows Composition and Organ lessons.

Coming from a family surrounded by music and musicians, Stéphane Mercier studied different instruments early on before focusing on the saxophone and the flute, composition and arrangement. After studying at Berklee College of Music in the mid-90’s, he intensively toured with Mark Turner, Seamus Blake, B.Connection, Exile Society...then moved to Brooklyn, NY (95-02), where he played and/or recorded with a.o. Aaron Goldberg, Chris Cheek, Avishai Cohen, Randy Brecker, Jeff Ballard, Ingrid Jensen, Matt Penman,… Stéphane moved to Paris for a couple of years before Brussels, where he currently resides
