Michael Conrad
A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Michael Conrad held a bachelor's degree in music performance. Both an extremely accomplished pianist and trombonist, he performed throughout the northeast with various ensembles ranging in size from small combos to large groups. Mike's performance resume included impressive stints with the Boston Opera Company as well as with several jazz ensembles including the Meadow-Larks, the Roy Scott Big Band and Synergy. A staple of the music scene in New England, Mike was a founding member of the D-Caf Jazz Quartet, and even served as a church organist along side of his wife, Carolyn, the music director who is also a retired music educator

Godwin Lewis
Godwin Louis, alto saxophonist, was born in Harlem, New York and began playing saxophone at age nine. Godwin grew up in Bridgeport, Connecticut and Port au Prince, Haiti. Godwin is a recent graduate from the prestigious Thelonious Monk Institute for Jazz Performance class of 2011. Although he began as a rock and blues guitarist, Bilodeau went on to study jazz performance at prestigious institutions such as McGill University and the New England Conservatory of Music, obtaining a Master’s degree in the process. During this time, Bilodeau has studied with some of the greatest living jazz musicians – including Billy Hart, Fred Hersch, Miguel Zenon, and Jason Moran – and has attended renowned music programs such as the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead program and the Banff International Workshop in Jazz and Creative Music

Misaki Nakamichi

Misaki Nakamichi is a female drummer from Osaka, Japan. She is an alumna of Berklee College of Music, where she received a full scholarship in 2013. She received numerous awards and honors. She is currently based in Boston, Massachusetts. Her authentic sound and groove are very pure, dynamic, and melodic. She started her music career on the drum set at the age of 10 and has performed in various styles, including jazz, funk/fusion, Latin, and pop/rock. Starting when she was 12 years old, Misaki studied privately with Japanese drummer Keiji Aramaki. Hanna Kim
Hanna Kim is a talented contemporary flutist, arranger, composer, improviser, songwriter, and a bandleader. Ms. Kim earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music from Bethesda University of California (Previous name is Bethesda Christian University), and the Master of Music degree in flute performance and conducting from California Baptist University at Riverside. Ms. Kim recently graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts as a dual major in songwriting and flute performance. She concentrated on jazz improvisation as a scholarship student in the Bachelor of Music Program at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.
A musician from Seoul, South Korea, she is the recipient of the 2014-2015 Matthew Marvuglio Endowed Scholarship, 2013-2016 CJ International Scholarship, and 2013 Performance Division Woodwind Award. Ms. Kim was a principal flutist with the Berklee Contemporary Symphony Orchestra. She studied with flutists Elizabeth Rowe of the BSO. At Berklee, she studied with Matt Marvuglio and Mia Olson. She also studied with Jim Walker and Mary Oppermann. Her goal is be an influential jazz flutist, hymnal jazz artist, composer, composer and improviser.

Dylan Jack

Dylan Jack is a percussionist and composer participating in multiple genres within the Boston music scene. As a performer, Jack divides his attention between playing as a sideman with some of the city’s top improvisors including Charlie Kohlhase, Jeb Bishop, Bill Lowe, Eric Hofbauer, etc and leading his main creative outlet, the Dylan Jack Quartet.
In 2016 Jack started the Dylan Jack Quartet, an ensemble focusing on original music. Combining intricately composed segments that utilize odd meters and phrasing with free improvisations, the music is described as “… bristling with rhythmic intelligence and rich in dynamic contrast and ebb and flow. (David Adler)” In September of 2017, they released their first album, Diagrams, which received favorable reviews from the jazz press. In June of 2020, they released their second record The Tale of the Twelve-Foot Man in on the Creative Nation Music label. Jack also co-leads the duo Hofbauer-Jack with premier Boston guitarist, Eric Hofbauer.

Aleif Hamdan

Aleif Hamdan is a guitarist/composer from Indonesia and Malaysia. Growing up in South East Asia, Aleif was exposed to a wide variety of music, contributing to a diverse and eclectic palette of taste. Aleif moved to Kuala Lumpur in 2010 to pursue studies at the International College of Music, and eventually earned a reputation in the national music scene after winning several competitions and awards. In 2012, he moved to the States after receiving the Berklee Achievement Scholarship to further explore new voices in music.
