Guitarist & Composer Istanbul born Turkish guitarist and composer, starting on classical guitar at the age of 15. Then rock and jazz in the following years. At the age of 16, starting to play with his high school band and won the “Best Perfroming Band of Turkey” award in a nationwide music competition. Yorgos Dimitriadis, born 1964 in Thessaloniki Greece, is an experimental musician, composer performer based in Berlin. Using percussion, microphones, field recordings and minimal electronics his music focuses on real time sonic landscapes, with an emphasis on timbre, sound color and long durations.

Since 2006 he lives in Berlin and appears at festivals and concert series worldwide.

Started playing bass at age 14, studied with bass players Andreas Bergsland (the first two years) and Mattis Kleppen (the next seven). Attended the jazz department of Sund Folk College 2005-06. Attained a bachelors degree in performing jazz at the jazz department of NTNU Music Institute in Trondheim in 2010. Attained a European Jazz Masters degree (EUJAM) at the jazz department of NTNU Music Institute in Trondheim in 2013 with exchange to Berlin Jazz Institute (Spring 2012) and Rytmisk Musikkonservatorium in Copenhagen (Fall 2012). Julie Sassoon

British pianist/composer Julie Sassoon is classically trained on piano and violin. She graduated in music and fine art in 1988, winning prizes for her classical piano performances and later completed postgraduate studies in jazz piano and Indian violin.

She came to the attention of critics and audiences in 2000, when she formed the remarkable ‘Azilut!’ trio with drummer Bart van Helsdingen and reeds player Lothar Ohlmeier, praised as ‘capable of miracles’ by the Guardian.
