Maria Schneider: On Worlds Diverged

We stand today at an intersection between two realities. An outspoken critic of copyright protections, prejudicial revenue schemes and the abuses of big data," Schneider has authored op-eds and ...

Jazz has always traveled. It finds inquisitive musicians all over the globe, where often, people outside the U.S. receive the message more readily than those in the country where it was born. Breaking news 3/23/20: Impulse! is getting its mojo back. Showing definite signs of, anyway... Since its glory days in the 1960s and 1970s, Impulse! has been little more than a logo wheeled out by its parent company, Universal Music, to lend credibility to unrelated one-off projects.
