Hilliard Greene has been studying music for more than 30 years and has been playing professionally over twenty. His emphasis is in classical, jazz, rock, blues, R&B, Tango as well as the music of other continents and US regions, and solo performances. Greene studied at the University of Northern Iowa and at Berklee College of Music in Boston and has been teaching private students and classes for over 25 years. He is currently a faculty member at the Bass Collective in New York City. He continues to teach privately and to do workshops and master classes in upright and electric bass for both children and adults

Mike B. Tucker is a native New Yorker who currently resides in Brooklyn, New York. He has performed, recorded and shared the stage with numerous artist such as Joe Bataan (Latin), Chanda Rule, Donnie C, Dead Prezidents, Mike Brick and the Foundation, Letha, Lady Alma, Jaguar Wright, Cleve Douglas, Tony Romano, Ronnie Williams, Furley, Sweet Georgia Brown, Cats with Shades (Blues and Popular), Stafford Hunter to name only a few. He is a graduate of The City College of New York (CUNY) and has had the honor to study with some of New York's greatest professional Bassist such as, Andrew Harkin (Prodigals, Joe Lieberman), Ron Jenkins (Anita Baker, Cher, Chuck Loeb), Jeff Andrews, (Mike Stern) Mike Richmond and currently David Finck. During the summer of 1995 Mike Tucker successfully toured South America with the Latin-Soul Artist Joe Bataan and his Mestizo Orchestra. Currently, he is performing with Furley, www.furley.net, an exceptional New York Jam Band and Cats with Shades a great New Jersey Classic pop band which are all currently touring the Northeastern States

Bassist Scott Marvill, a founding member of Freeport, is originally from Philadelphia, PA. His father, a jazz drummer, had a great effect on his early development. Scott remembers music always being played in his house and recalled that his Dad would go to the basement after dinner and play along with recordings. Scott joined in on any instrument found in the basement, be it bongos, a woodblock, the guitar, even a box. One day his Godfather, a jazz guitarist himself, showed Scott a version of the 9th chord, and that did it. He became a guitarist then at the age of 11. In his twenties, he found himself attendng Combs College of Music, playing gigs, teaching guitar and bass, traveling and being a session man at Ridge Sound Studios in Philly

Originally from Kfar Saba, Israel, bassist and composer Daniel Ori's first exposures to music were piano recitals at his grandmother's apartment in Tel-Aviv. Her attempts to teach Daniel traditional piano lessons were disrupted by his interest with contemporary music. At age 14, Daniel took his older brother's electric bass, which was lying around the house into his own hands. The connection with the instrument came immediately and Daniel's musical voyage had begun. His growing interest in Jazz music brought him to Rimon School of Music, where he studied Jazz performance for three years. Daniel has since collaborated with some of Israel's top Jazz prospects and has played at the Red Sea Jazz Festival and Tel Aviv Jazz Festival to name a few

Tim Luntzel was born and raised in Palo Alto, California where at the age of 11 he began playing the bass guitar. In high school, repeated and involuntary exposure to the music of Count Basie and Duke Ellington eventually led to a fledgeling enthusiasm for jazz, manifesting itself in scholarships to the Monterey Jazz Camp, the coveted Louis Armstrong Award, a tour of Europe and enrollment at the Berklee College of Music.
In 1994, while still at Berklee, Tim undertook the study of the double-bass, garnering further scholarship dough for his seeming ease in handling this very difficult transition. In the years following graduation ('94-'98) Tim went on to lead the popular and critically acclaimed Venus Band and play a pivotal role in the founding of the forward-looking hip-hop band Red Time, at the same time freelancing for such artists as George Garzone, Frank Tiberi and Danillo Perez.
