Luke Vajsar

Luke Vajsar was born in Prague, Czech Republic on May 17, 1979. In 1989 he immigrated to Hamilton, Canada with his brother and parents. When given the opportunity to play music at the age of 10 in elementary school, he immediately became interested. Even though he selected bass as his instrument he was given the trombone by his teacher and developed his skills on the instrument to a level where he was an important part in the best of big bands in his city and neighboring regions; winning national and provincial awards through to 1999. Also, he began playing guitar at this time and kept playing till finally he got his hands on a bass at the age of 13

Aldemar Valentin

Bassist and composer Aldemar Valentin is one of the most sought after bassists currently based out of Puerto Rico. Aldemar holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston and a Masters in Jazz Studies from the New England Conservatory in Boston. Aldemar currently teaches at the Inter American University/Metropolitan Campus in San Juan, Puerto Rico and continues to perform with the top acts in the country. Mr. Russel Blake has been a professional musician, solo artist, and educator for over three decades. He received his initial music instruction from his father, jazz great Alex Blake, and from his brother, jazz artist Alex Blake II. But Russel Blake’s theory, compositional, and musical arrangement skills are all self-taught.
As an educator, Mr. Blake has taught as an Adjunct Professor of Electrical Bass Studies at four universities across the country. To date, he has performed, toured, and lectured in 65 countries on five continents.
Blake is the creator of "The Universal Language Music History & Cultural Program" through which he has taught the history of music to a variety of audiences, from elementary through high school, colleges and universities, to senior centers, prisons, hospitals, military installations, and art galleries.

That determination and creativity drove the Bermuda native (who lived alternately in Oberlin Ohio) to become a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and composer, later performing with top acts in Bermuda's thriving hotel nightclub culture. After moving to Florida 15 years ago, Davis -- whose main instrument is bass -- actively partook of the Suncoast music scene, including performing with the popular dance band Ozone. David has been playing Bass for at least fifteen years and professionally for 12 he has played in various situations ranging from Blues, jazz,Pop funk and anything else that grooves. At the moment he is working hard writting an arranging for the "BassBoy band". The "BassBoy Band" could be described as a combination of jazz, funk and fusion. David had been toying with the idea of this band for a few years. He has played with each member of the band in different settings but this is the first project were they have all come together, the result of this collaboration has been the release their first album entitled (funny enough) "Bass Boy" which was official released on the 25th of August to a packed crowd at Jazzworx

Born in Savannah, GA, I moved to Massachusetts at a very young age. My interest in playing music began when my father brought home an electric guitar and amp one night when I was around 11. I turned it up to ten, played a power chord, and I was converted. I played primarily guitar until the age of 15 or sixteen. I began playing mostly with a guitarist friend of mine, Ralph Nelson and my brother Nick on drums. Ralph and I would switch off on bass for the makeshift power trio. Eventually the balance became more me on bass. I then got my first gig ever playing bass and that was it, I was a bassist
