Tobias Gebb

Tobias Gebb is a drummer, composer and educator based in New York City. Over the years he has shared the stage or recording studio with a wide variety of artists. From Blue Note jazz guitarist Peter Burnstein to Donald Fegan of Steely Dan. From the famed west coast jazz pianist Smith Dobson to the famed rocker Lenny Kravits. He has a BA in composition from Berklee College of Music, an MA from Manhattan School of Music and a dual MSE in general and special education from The Bank Street School. His album Free At Last was in the Top10 on American jazz radio charts and through his licensing business his group Trio West has been heard on shows such as Dexter, Madam Secretary, Key and Peele and others.

Jeryl Johnston

Originally from Oregon, Jeryl has completed a Master of Music degree in composition from Brooklyn College, City University of New York, and a Bachelor of Music Degree at the University of Oregon School of Music with dual majors in Piano Performance and Music Theory.

 

While in Oregon, she began studying Afro-Cuban music, an undertaking which has taken her on an adventure that has so far included multi-year freelance tenures in both Los Angeles and New York City.  In Los Angeles she performed predominantly with “Orquesta Son Mayor,” also performing with “Johnny Polanco y su Conjunto Amistad” and others.  As a member of these ensembles, she played regularly at venues such as The Conga Room, The Mayan, The Getty Center, Los Angeles County Museum of Art and others.

Mohammad Fatemi ( Persian: محمد فاطمی ) is an Iranian singer, actor, songwriter, music arranger and composer living in Tehran, Iran. He started working in the music industry at the age of 11 due to his interest in music. At the age of 12, he became proficient at playing the piano and guitar, and his efforts to learn composition led him to produce and arrange music for several artists. Although he prefers to produce music for new artists, he has collaborated with many famous singers from different countries. He released his first official song in 2019. Mohammad Fatemi has created and published more than 50 successful works for readers. It goes without saying that (Mohammed Fatemi) is also active in the field of acting in cinema and television Mohammad Fatemi publishes his works directly on Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, etc.

Aubrey Johnson is a New York-based vocalist, composer, and educator who specializes in jazz, Brazilian, and creative contemporary music. Aubrey teaches in the jazz programs at Montclair University, Queens College, and in the voice department at Berklee College of Music. She has performed and/or recorded with Billy Childs, Jimmy Cobb, John Patitucci, Janis Siegel (Manhattan Transfer), John Zorn’s Mycale Vocal Quartet, Fred Hersch, among many others. Aubrey recorded on Bobby McFerrin’s 2010 Grammy-nominated release, “VOCAbuLaries”, Arturo O'Farrill's 2020 Grammy Award- winning album “Four Questions”, and on Lyle Mays’ 2021 Grammy Award-winning recording “Eberhard”

Nikos Chatzitsakos

Born in Athens, Greece, bassist, arranger, and composer Nikos Chatzitsakos is an award-winning musician as a member of Ralph Peterson’s GenNext Big Band and leader of the Nikos Chatzitsakos Tiny Big Band & Quartet. Influenced by Black American music of the 1940s-60s, he attempts to find new ways to honor the era and perform it and connect it to other idioms. Nikos is a graduate of Berklee College Of Music in Boston, where he studied performance and jazz composition with a full-tuition scholarship. He continued his graduate studies at the Berklee Global Jazz Institute on a full-tuition scholarship

Edward Partyka

Ed Partyka is a bass trombonist/tubist, composer/arranger and conductor. Originally from Chicago Illinois, he received a BA degree from Northern Illinois University before moving to Germany in 1990. He completed a Masters degree in jazz trombone performance at the Conservatory of Music in Cologne, where he was also a member of the G.E.M.A. Jazz Composers Workshop, led by Bob Brookmeyer.

He was recipient of the 2000 "A.S.C.A.P. / I.A.J.E. Commission Honouring the Centenary of Louis Armstrong". He was 1st prize-winner of the 1998 "NDR Musikpreis" (Hamburg), 1st prize winner of the Jazz Composers Alliance 1998 Julius Hemphill Composition Awards (Boston) and finalist in the 1996 HR Emerging Composers Competition (Frankfurt).

Charles Gambetta

Charles Gambetta earned his Doctor of Musical Arts degree in orchestral conducting at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he was the assistant conductor of the University Symphony Orchestra from 1996-98. He returned to conduct the University Orchestra in a performance of Enescu's Rumanian Rhapsody in A Major, Op. 11, No. 1 on May 1, 2000 as winner of the 2000 UNCG Conducting Competition and has since appeared as guest conductor with the Royal Conservatory Festival Orchestra of Toronto in summer 2001 and 2002. Gambetta began his conducting studies with Ansel Brusilow in 1974 at the University of North Texas where he was also Associate Conductor and Arranger for the One O'clock Lab Band

Steven Feifke

A two-time semi-finalist in the Thelonious Monk Jazz Piano Competition, Feifke has been featured on stages around the world alongside premiere artists including Steve Tyrell, Randy Brecker, Chad LB and Veronica Swift, with an impressive performance history at recognized venues like the Blue Note, Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola, Birdland, Times Square and Rockefeller Center. International tours across Europe, Africa and Asia along with an extensive discography of over 30 albums all before turning 30 have established Feifke’s name as a global presence in jazz. Alan Broadbent

Alan Broadbent was born in Auckland, New Zealand and in 1966, at the age of 19, received a Downbeat Magazine scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston. In 1969 he was asked to join Woody Herman's band as his pianist and arranger for 3 years. In 1972 he settled in Los Angeles, beginning a musical relationship with the legendary singer Irene Kral (no relation to Diana Krall). Soon he was also invited into the studio scene as a pianist for the great Nelson Riddle, David Rose and Johnny Mandel. In the early 90s he was asked to be a part of Natalie Cole's famous "Unforgettable" cd, at which time he toured as her pianist and, a little while later, as her conductor
