Il chitarrista e compositore lituano Juozas Milasius mantiene perfettamente le premesse rispettando alla lettera il titolo di questo CD: Slow. E tutto quello che ci viene concesso di ascoltare pare proprio transitare dentro al rallentatore, come se stessimo vivisezionando con una moviola le sparse note estratte dalla chitarra elettrica e le poche divagazioni concesse dal computer.

Anche i titoli sono brevi e lasciano balenare solo qualche suggestione immaginifica che però viene inevitabilmente smorzata da una sorta di continuità narrativa che non sente il bisogno di saltare di capitolo in capitolo. All'ascolto tutto si fonde nella luce bianca, senza ombre, che bagna la scena.

Non c'è frenesia, non c'è dimostrazione di doti tecniche particolari. Io sono io, tu sei tu. La chitarra è la chitarra, il computer è il computer. Pane al pane e vino al vino. Viene semplicemente messa a nudo l'anima di Juozas Milasius e ci viene dato il privilegio di assistere. Senza far rumore.
