Alessandro Olivieri Trio: Silenzi Pieni
L'energia, l'interplay e la freschezza di una session che suona molto estemporanea si esprimono alla perfezione attraverso una scaletta di brani famosi. Qualcuno arrangiato in modo sorprendente, ad esempio "My Favourite Things," che parte con le note singole del pianoforte che imita un carillon prima di rivelare il tema. Max Chirico è un elemento importante del trio, preciso e swingante, e negli ultimi due brani presente alla tromba, con cui esprime un lirismo contagioso.
I tre non cercano la novità a tutti i costi. Eppure Silenzi Pieni è un disco che non annoia, anzi, lo si riascolta volentieri con la sua energia di un jazz senza troppi fronzoli e classicismi.
