We spoke to the alto saxophonist about his new trio release featuring Francois Moutin on bass and Rudy Royston on drums and cymbals and how Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Ornette Coleman, Stevie Wonder, and yes even Johnny Cash have influenced his musical world.
