Se avete voglia di ascoltare dell'ottimo jazz italiano, è questa l'occasione giusta. Ne è protagonista un trio superbo, che si proietta felicemente verso un sound cosmopolita fresco ed avvincente tra acustica ed elettronica. Le otto composizioni originali del leader si innestano su un disegno ritmico frastagliato ed avvolgente, creando un efficace equilibrio di gruppo capace di influire creativamente sul gioco delle improvvisazioni.

All'opera troviamo tre musicisti bravi tecnicamente con il valore aggiunto si saper(si) ascoltare ed integrarsi a meraviglia nel disegno generale del percorso proposto. Sapientemente innervata dal solismo trasversale del pianista barese, l'energia collettiva del trio si sprigiona con un respiro potente sin dal primo brano d'apertura e sa aprirsi alle distese melodie di "The Flavour Of Clouds".

Un trascinante groove di base permea il disegno sonoro per ridar linfa ad una tradizione mainstream consolidata, filtrandola attraverso la sensibilità e il talento musicale di Fornarelli. Ne vien fuori un CD di vaglia, che documenta la maturità ed il punto di arrivo di un raffinato processo di ricerca messo in atto dal trio.
