L'estroversa cantante e violinista polacca firma il terzo capitolo della sua personale serie a colori. Dopo aver confermato di saper ben interpretare il classico repertorio degli standards con Black (2006) e introdurre nuove prospettive col successivo Blue (2011) in quest'album oltrepassa decisamente i confini del modern mainstream confrontandosi con generi diversi: fusion, bossa nova, latin jazz, funk e altro.

La sua voce si presenta ormai come un versatile strumento che non ha più interesse a utilizzare le parole. Una sperimentazione che sembra seguire un po' le orme dell'illustre connazionale Urszula Dudziak, nello spirito disinvolto e nello stile variopinto.

Molti brani offrono la piena misura delle sue doti, a partire dall'eccitante brano funk iniziale, il noto "Butterfly" di Herbie Hancock e dal latino "Ahmar," scritto dalla cantante col tastierista Mark Little che la coadiuva in questo progetto.

Apprezziamo il suo coraggio di rischiare ma il progetto si sviluppa in modo un po' monocorde e alla fine risulta ridondante. L'attendiamo a un nuovo capitolo.
