A wealth of top jazz artists will perform at the Seventh Annual Oskar Schindler Performing Arts Center Jazz Festival, Sept. 12 and 13. Among those appearing at the OSPAC amphitheater, 4 Boland Drive (off Prospect Avenue near Route 280) in West Orange, are the Dizzy Gillespie All Stars with bassist John Lee and trumpeter Claudio Roditi and the New York Voices, which includes Darmon Meader and Kim Nazarian. Show times are 12:30 to 7 p.m. On Saturday, catch the Gillespie band, singer Pam Purvis and saxophonist Bob Ackerman, guitarist Dave Stryker and the West Orange All Stars and drummer Cecil Brooks III lll's Quartet, featuring tenor saxophone favorite Houston Person.

Sunday's schedule boasts the New York Voices, saxophonist Dave Liebman, Oscar Perez's Nuevo Comienzo and others. The festival also offers numerous food booths and arts and crafts presenters. Large-scale tents will be installed in the event of rain. The fest remains a bargain at $10 for adults, $5 for seniors, children free. Bring lawn chairs.
