L.A.'s Jazz Bakery Benefit Concert Features Tenor Great Benny Golson

Ruth Price, long time director of the Jazz Bakery in Culver City, California, presents more tasty jazz with the latest in a series of benefit concerts to help resurrect the non profit jazz venue. Called the “Movable Feast," these performances, which have included Kenny Burrell, Hubert Laws, Mose Allison and Hiromi, among others, will feature tenor great Benny Golson and his quartet this Sat. night April 24th at the Grammy Museum Sound Stage in downtown Los Angeles. Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for students under 21.

Other upcoming shows will feature a duet with inspired vocalist Dwight Trible and electrifying pianist John Beasley Sat. May 15th at the Boston Court Theater in Pasadena.

Show times are 8pm and 9:30pm with ticket prices $25 for adults and $15 for students 21 and younger. On Sat. May 29th, violinist Regina Carter and Reverse Thread will perform shows at 8pm and 9:30pm at the Grammy Museum Sound Stage. Tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for students 21 and under.
