The new 'must have' compilation celebrates the 60th anniversary of Prestige Records. The track list features; John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Eric Dolphy, Thelonious Monk, Sonny Rollins, and more.

A great collection of 25 essential Prestige tracks, packed with classic photographs covering a 20-year span from 1949-1969, truly representing Prestige’s golden era.
The 60th anniversary celebration continues with three series of Ryan Van Gelder remasters (March 3, June 2 and September 8), as well as audio podcasts with the legendary engineer.
In addition, Concord will issue two new sets of vital music from the Prestige catalog: Sidesteps, a 5-CD boxed set of John Coltrane’s appearances as a sideman on Prestige recordings (to be released on September 8), and the 2-CD collection Miles Davis & Sonny Rollins: The Classic Prestige Sessions 1951–1956 (to be issued in late summer or early fall).
Also planned for later this year is Prestige Records: The Collected Album Covers, a coffee table book, published by noted music historian Geoff Gans.
