In questo More to Come troviamo il giovane trombonista israeliano Jonathan Voltzok, ma residente a Brooklyn, in un confronto generazionale col grande Slide Hampton... facendo rinverdire i ricordi del famoso duo di trombonisti Jay & Kai. L'energia non manca come ad esempio nel finale "Shawnuff`" di Parker/Gillespie in cui i due sono scatenati!

Voltzok dimostra di avere assorbito il messaggio del bop in modo naturale, quasi non ci fosse altra via espressiva sullo strumento, pulito nelle folate di crome che spuntano fluidamente, ma suo agio pure sui tempi lenti - vedi l`intenso "Round Midnight".

Insomma un giovane di cui sentiremo parlare (ed il titolo More to Come appare programmatico da questo punto di vista), che sa guidare il trio che lo accompagna nella maggior parte dei brani dando spazio alla ritmica che ruota intorno al pianista Aaron Goldberg e che si dimostra altrettanto abile a livello compositivo.
