My Jazz Story

The first jazz record I bought was Super- Sonic Jazz by Sun Ra and His Arkestra. I had heard their version of Pink Elephants On Parade from the Hal Wilner Disney tribute album, Stay Awake, but I didn't take a deep dive for several years. Once I did, I discovered several others (The Coltranes, Art Ensemble of Chicago, Pharaoh Sanders, Albert Ayler, Archie Shepp, and others). Since then, there has been no turning back.
