About the Album
The Rising Moon introduces a more electric sound where there is space for the use of effects and a rhythmic development more open and tending to deconstruct the sound space. The tune is characterized by the tight dialogue between the drums of Campobasso and the trombone of Lucifora, both supported by the double bass and the dark and enigmatic electric piano played by the leader. "The Rising Moon is the night that comes, with all its mystery. Moon, secret companion and homeland of poets and dreamers."
