About the Album
"King's Canyon" is one the four tracks that comprise The California Suite, on Axiom's album Starburst. Inspired by band leaders Phil and Pete Templer's love and respect for some of California’s most iconic landscapes, "King's Canyon" captures the dynamic and dramatic nature of California’s fantastic natural world. This majestic valley emulates the raging Kings River via a brisk Latin-Jazz composition featuring Alan Palmer on Soprano Sax and Pete Templer on Guitar. Phil Templer's drum and percussion work also play an especially prominent role on "Kings Canyon."
