Singer-songwriter DO'A has introduced herself with debut album 'higher grounds', which was just released via Outside in Music. Accompanied by pianist Nando Michelin, DO'A presents her distinctive take on "I Fall In Love Too Easily". She tells AAJ: "Chet Baker's rendition of "I Fall in Love Too Easily " resonates profoundly with me everytime I hear it - it simply and purely transports my soul to a different realm. It was a no brainer when it came to picking a jazz standard for my album. A tribute to the interconnected nature of the human spirit, the 'higher grounds' draws on the artist's Albanian upbringing, combining elements of Albanian folk music with jazz, samba and Latin American rhythmic traditions to create a holistic expression of the artist’s identity and passions.
