L'ascolto del primo brano di questo disco, una lunga e pensosa "Intro" del solo organo Hammond di Frank Salis non ci fa sospettare che si tratterà di un album che possiamo inserire nella categoria dell'acid jazz, con riferimenti a Jimmy Smith ed agli organisti del suo periodo. L'organista svizzero è molto bravo a creare atmosfere cariche di ritmo, a partire da "Austin," e - in particolare - con la title-track dalle spiccate venature funky. A parte le composizioni dell'autore da segnalare anche il blues "Cold Shot" scritto da Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Intorno all gruppo principale di Salis girano sideman interessanti, fra cui risalta Joe Colombo con il suo originale uso del dobro in due brani, "Street Walk" e "Cold Shot".

Un disco divertente da ascoltare, pure se non si va in discoteca!
