Orchestra In-Stabile Dis/Accordo: Live in Hamburg

Fa riferimento alla ripresa dal vivo al Jazztage del 2008 questo Live in Hamburg, lavoro che vede protagonista l'Orchestra In-stabile Dis/Accordo, già in evidenza con il precedente Live At Mikalsa Vol. 1 (2009).

L'ensemble, capitanato da Luca Lo Bianco e Francesco Guaiana, attraversa diverse stanze sonore, caratterizzate ora dalle sabbie mobili formali dell'iniziale "Miconduco" - un pezzo dove si avvertono echi di soundtrack perdute nella notte dei tempi, movimenti cadenzati e potenza esecutiva - poi dal mood leggermente più accomodante in "Disaccordo sulla meridiana". La registrazione trova uno dei momenti di maggior feeling melodico nell'introduzione di piano di "Let's Them Play," un brano che con il passare dei minuti - alla fine saranno sedici - assume varie forme, restituendo un'alternanza stilistica notevole, capace di sganciarsi da modelli definibili per approdare in territori vicini al funk, al free, al jazz chiaramente inteso come libertà concettuale.

Libertà che l'orchestra palermitana esprime con tutta la propria energia nella conclusiva "The Hamburg Bis" - nella quale possiamo ascoltare in sottofondo la celeberrima conferenza stampa di Giovanni Trapattoni, dove si scaglia contro il calciatore Strunz -, per quella che potremmo definire come un'orgia di spunti creativi assemblati con capacità di coinvolgimento, dovuta alla perfetta simbiosi tra conduttori e musicisti. Peccato solo per la mancanza di un eventuale contributo video della serata.
