Johan Lindstrom & Norrbotten Big Band: Johan Lindstrom & Norrbotten Big Band
E così l'incedere marziale di "Parade," tra hard rock e liriche aperture, scalda i motori, "Blues fo Somliga" è un Bignami per Big Band con sfumature lisergiche, "End of the Dark Hours" e "Ostavink" costruiscono attorno alla chitarra acustica di Lindstrom paesaggi tra l'epico e l'elegiaco. In "Ritmo Bolsillo" e "Artict Mambo" i ritmi caraibici sono filtrati attraverso lenti deformanti provenienti dal novecento colto. Mentre "Nobi" è chiusura del cerchio enigmatica e misteriosa quanto basta.
Johan Lindstrom, non solo specialista della steel guitar ma compositore, produttore sound designer e collaboratore tra gli altri di Nils Petter Molvaer, Patti Smith, Sly & Robbie, scrive appositamente per la NBB durante una "Composer in Residence" del 2020, confermando una visione musicale caleidoscopica ricca di riferimenti ma sorprendentemente organica nel risultato.
