Juozas Milasius: J.M Eile
ByThe opening piece titled “Prisilietimas,” commences with a Pink Floydian type groove, featuring Milasius’ cyclical and thoroughly melodic crunch-chord induced lines. Some of these works consist of programmatic rhythms, simple childlike harmonies, and distorted (or digitized) human voices. We don’t believe that Milasius is attempting to chart new musical terrain, however this production makes for an affable listening experience. As he melds the tried and true with a contemporary sound that is perhaps a tad more substantial than what many of his peers have been churning out these days.
