Silvano Borzacchiello Trio: El Cerrito PL
Il lavoro è condotto complessivamente su tempi medi, rilassati ma solo in parte meditativi, anzi prevalentemente lirico-narrativi - con qualche soffusa e sorprendente suggestione monkiana che fa capolino nelle parti in trio ("Punto"). La diffusa liricità viene mantenuta anche nelle due tracce improvvisate. In trio, Colombo e Fioravanti mettono in luce doti ed esperienza, suonando in modo sofisticato e con grande affiatamento, mentre Borzacchiello svolge soprattutto il ruolo di regia.
Leggermente diverso lo scenario delle tracce con la presenza degli ottoni, che incrementano la tensione e si aprono spazi per assolo che rendono il tessuto più dinamico e leggermente meno narrativo, anche se coerente alla cifra del trio.
Globalmente un lavoro apprezzabile, con ottime composizioni, tra le quali spiccano "Punto" e "Tangram".
