In Dedicated To... Patti Wick è impeccabile; come pure i compagni di viaggio, che hanno tuttavia il torto di lesinare soluzioni personali, sicuri di far leva su un repertorio eterogeneo e di sicura presa. Prevale un modo impeccabile quanto scarno nell'andamento solistico, poco graffiante ed incisivo e la relativa brevità di molti brani conferma la sensazione che i musicisti non abbiano scavato a fondo nelle varie composizioni. Sotto tono pure la guest star Scott Hamilton, pronto ad eseguire il proprio compito con perizia ma senza tanta convinzione. A modesto parere di scrive, la routine prevale sul fuoco improvvisativo e sulle idee, che la tecnica dei quattro non basta a riscattare.

Dedicated To... è quindi un disco gradevole ma che non lascia di sé una traccia significativa, per via di una formula e di soluzioni abbastanza scontate. È un percorso che sa molto di deja vù, in cui mancano sonorità vibranti ed idee forti.
