Alberto Tebaldi: Cyber Alice

Alberto Tebaidi è un chitarrista romano ormai alla soglia dei quarant'anni che si muove fra insegnamento, libri didattici e passione per l'arte del novecento. In questo Cyber Alice affronta con grande slancio e contagiosa passione sette composizioni originali che si sviluppano in lunghe linee sinuose che pescano dal mondo dei chitarristi contemporanei più accreditati, senza mai perdere di vista il proprio modo di porsi e di raccontarsi.

Sono con lui il saxofonista Pierfrancesco Cacace capace di affiancarsi al leader con escursioni sinuose e cariche di suggestioni ritmiche, il trombonista Davide Di Pasquale ruvido e grumoso al punto giusto, anche se un po' disperso nel mix, l'elegante pianista Arturo Valiante e l'efficace sezione ritmica composta da Steve Mariani e Max Baldassarre.

Non mancano suggestioni esotiche ed esoteriche, evoluzioni ben calibrate che ci portano in territori luminosi baciati da una brezza piacevole e mai fastidiosa. Come se fossimo a bordo di un veliero che solca i mari della tranquillità.
