Clarity in the Horn
Hanging on for dear life
This body in constant change
Has the beauty of the moment
Stronger than the waves of pain.
Like an island in the ocean
Our love in notes remains
Sparkling in the music
Tenderness' refrains.
These dreams that feed the mind
Sustained in clarity thru the horn
The passion of surrender
Woven in those songs
Throws your image thru my brain cells
The best gift that I own:
Memory connected to those moments
Thru the beauty of these tunes.
Stay Whole
A few days, and remembrance
Moves thru the tunes.
The sorrow when you walked away
Transferred into melodies
Diffuse the agony
With beauty on the sway
As saxophones play
The language of emotions.
Remembering those sweet days
As longings linger
While echoes haunt the dreams,
For what we traded
Ate away at my soul.
Fed only with that music
And listening, love stays whole.
Harmonious Display
Memories pulling at the pleasures
Woven thru the days
Spent listening to expressions
Describing love's sway:
Drum become flexible
As saxophone is played
With smooth flowing passion
Reflecting how we lay
Wrapped in the other:
Love the only way
Opens up the Universe
As musicians play
Filling all of space with
Harmonious display.
