I received a few recent requests about my comic illustration published back in November 2018, so here you go. Enjoy!
Years ago, when I dabbled in cartooning, I developed a presentation style where the character on the left makes a statement with a speech balloon while the character on the right responds with a thought balloon—always in sharp contrast. I had a lot of fun with it.

Here, illustrator Keith Henry Brown and I collaborated on this speech / thought exchange.

Keith Henry Brown's art can be seen on Jazz Appreciation Month posters as well as several Mack Avenue Records album covers. He is the illustrator of the children's picture book, Birth of The Cool: How Jazz Great Miles Davis Found His Sound.

Michael Ricci, a man of peculiar talents, resides here.
Adorn your wall with a "Love Jazz, Hate Jazz" poster and support All About Jazz in the process. Prints are available here.
