Non è tra i nomi più famosi della scena impro-jazz svizzera quello del sassofonista Christoph Gallio, ma la sua storia sonora è stata spesso costellata di ottime sinergie: emerso alla fine degli Settanta, Gallio ha collaborato con Günter Müller e Irène Schweizer, ma soprattutto è stato allievo di Steve Lacy a Parigi e ha successivamente suonato con Fred Frith e Phil Minton.
