The New Moon Jelly Roll Freedom Rockers Volume 2 is replete with the same instinctual camaraderie and musicianly savvy as its predecessor. Jimbo Mathus has an important job to do and he has done it impeccably this far. Mathus restores music from America's past and brings it to America's present, offering it in an entertaining and passionate palette to an audience that includes America's youth.
